....Online Ideas To Advertise And Promote Your Site....
- Reciprocal linking is still one of the most powerful
marketing methods you can implement in order to
increase traffic to your site. It takes a little time but
the long term benefits will pay big returns to you for
a long time into the future.
- Optimize your main webpage for keywords and content
and then submit it to www.dmoz.org in a category with
an editor assigned to it. Inclusion in DMOZ can do a lot
for improving your SE rankings.
- Create a Newsletter - most people aren't going to buy
from you immediately. You need to develop a relationship
with them so that they can get to know and trust you. Most
need to be contacted several times before they decide if
they want to purchase what you may be selling. in order to
build your subscriber list be sure to place a subscription box
on every page of your web site. Send out your newsletter on
a regular schedule to keep in touch with your subscribers.
Some of the standard tried and true methods such as
placing ezine ads, swapping ads with other publishers,
including your url in your signature file, commenting in
forums, writing articles as well as developing some of
the new methods of marketing including RSS feeds and
setting up your own blog will work well to get the word
out about your website.
If you will continuously look for new and interesting ways
to promote and advertise your business you will eventually
build a solid successful online business.
